Best Chaga Products
Here is a list of our favorite Chaga products. We’ve done our research to help you find the products you need that meet our criteria.
Chaga Tea
By Sayan
Where to buy Chaga tea is a quite common question for us.
Sayan offers a very nice selection of teas. Their products are tested in accredited laboratories which is why we recommend their teas. We also like the concept behind their offer of teas:
- All Day Chaga– Combines three types of Chaga for morning, afternoon and evening. A package of 30 – 180 tabs.
- Tea Bags – (Monthly subscription is also available).
- Loose tea– Traditional and with lots of variants from birch tree buds to golden root.
Buying Sayan Chaga has many benefits. It is the most complete selection of different types of Chaga we’ve seen on the internet. Moreover, Sayan is transparent when it comes to their harvesting practices and the sharing of valuable information.
Our recommendation is to also try the new birch tree bud extract, but you should check out other types as well.

Mushroom Lemonade With Charcoal and Lemonade
By Foursigmatic

If you want to try something refreshing that would remind you of the hot summer days from your childhood, then you must try it!
We’re talking about the Chaga lemonade with charcoal and Chaga added. This Chaga lemonade is sugar-free, which is usually not the case with lemonades. It is also caffeine free, organic and suitable for vegans. You can get up to 20 servings out of one dose.
It includes Chaga mushroom extract, activated charcoal from coconut shell, acerola extract, monk fruit extract, and organic lemon juice powder. The color can seem strange at first (lemonade should be colorful, right?) since it is black. This color comes from charcoal derived from coconut shell.
After tasting it, your impression will be totally different. Users of this blend have only good words to say about it and so do we. So, get yourself one if you are looking for a tasty refreshment!
Loose Tea
The Birch Boys Chaga loose tea is harvested (sustainably, of course!) in the NY’s Adirondack Mountains.
The 4oz package it suitable for around 60 cups of tea. Birch Boys used to sell their Chaga products on their website but moved to Amazon.
There, we can also read positive feedback from numerous buyers. There are various ways to brew loose tea. Basically, you can use tea strainers or tea bags. The choice it yours.
We made sure their product is sustainably harvested and this loose tea is a safe buy!
Raw Ground Chaga
By Sayan Chaga
For everything!
Sayan is one of the most trusted players in the Chaga world. Their chain of production, from the forest all the way to your home is well controlled. If you have the question of where to buy Chaga tea, then here’s the answer. We believe Sayan’s Chaga tea is the best you can get – it is pure and comes straight from Siberian forests.
There are five different size packages available: 4 Oz, 6 Oz, 8 Oz plus massive 1 and 2.2 lb bulk quantities.
If you have not tried Chaga tea, you might want to start with the 4 oz size. But if you already know what you want, and need a quality product, you might consider the bulk sizes because there the price per ounce is quite low.
User reviews on this Sayan Chaga tea are mainly positive too. People point out the good flavor and easy-to-follow steeping instructions. On the negative side, people point out some things which we should clarify:
Chaga won’t dissolve in water! Some people say that they were not impressed with the taste. Let us clarify; Chaga doesn’t always have a taste. It is what it is. You can mix it with ordinary tea, lemon, honey or something from our Chaga tea guide. Chaga is mild to earthy, not bold and flavorful. It takes on the flavor of what you add to it, and is prepared for its health benefits.

Chaga Buying Guide – The Chain
PLEASE NOTE: The world is not black and white and our description is a rough generalization based on our experience and contacts with suppliers.
There are some criteria that every buyer should check before buying Chaga online. Price is the least important here. Typically the system is something like this below
There are qualities you need to check in order to be sure to get purest Chaga. Chaga itself is pure, but like everything in this world – with money involved, some will try to cut corners. You want to get the purest Chaga mushroom for your money when buying it online.
Let’s cover these steps in the chain.
STEP #1 – Pickers Collect and sell Chaga to Wholesale Buyers:
A Picker collects raw Chaga and sells it to a wholesale buyer as a first step. The wholesale buyer pays for the weight. For pickers, it’s their salary. If they collect 10 pounds, they’ll earn the amount of money that the wholesale buyer pays. If they double it – they will get double the amount.
Did you see it? Here’s the problem – it’s all about quantity, not the quality.
The wholesale buyer doesn’t always care about quality but quantity. Therefore, to increase their money, some pickers manipulate the weight.
There are two types of pickers from our point of view:
1. Responsible pickers
Typically he or she likes to visit the forest for camping or hiking. They often visit wild places where you rarely see people. If they see Chaga, they collect it. Some of them use it for their personal needs, making Chaga tincture, extract and so on.
Responsible Chaga pickers care about the quality, not the quantity.
If they have more than they can use, they’ll sell it to a buyer. Since they picked it for themselves, they are looking for quality. They avoid Chaga’s that are close to populated areas since Chaga mushroom absorbs pollution. Also, careful pickers harvest Chaga the right way, leaving small amounts on the tree, which can start growing again. These kinds of pickers avoid Chaga that doesn’t meet their purity criteria. Their Chaga is the purest you can get.
2. Picking-As-Business Pickers
Typically these kinds of pickers are picking only interested in money. Picking-As-Business pickers just want to gather as many Chaga chunks as possible.
Also, they don’t care about the quality and it is probably easiest to collect near a city. They don’t need to go to places where the Chaga is the purest. Why go far if you can get it close by and get the same amount of money with less effort?
Picking-as-business pickers care about the quantity, not the quality.
They want to maximize the amount. There are some nasty ways to increase weight. The most popular is to soak it in water. Typically they collect standing water in the forest, which we all know, can be stagnant, and full of harmful bacteria. Also, there are cases where they roll Chaga chunks in sand and dirt to attach particles that make it slightly heavier.
Also, we’ve read that those who sell powder mixed with tinder cork, which grows on dead birch trees. It doesn’t look like Chaga from the outside but the inside (when dried) is quite similar. Some unscrupulous pickers add bark from the birch tree as a filler. Both spoil the Chaga and may produce harmful side-effects.
STEP #2: Wholesale Buyer Buys And Sells To Suppliers
The wholesale buyer pays by the pound. It is in most cases, a fixed price for raw Chaga and another fixed price for the extract. They add this cost, and sell to suppliers who use the Chaga to produce the products they sell to you. Typically they use the Chaga to make tincture, powder or tea. Some suppliers also offer creams and pills.
Suppliers sell their products on their own websites or on bigger e-commerce shops like Amazon. The advantage of selling from their own shop is that you can build up loyalty to a brand – if you have trusted and recognized brand, people will more likely return to buy more of their products and recommend them to friends. So it is good business to be honest, and many sellers are.
One a broad scale, we have seen two types of suppliers too.
What To Buy? Jump back to suggested Chaga products ->
1. Quality suppliers
Those are the suppliers you want to buy Chaga online. These suppliers buy only quality Chaga mushrooms from carefully selected partners. They can’t buy bulk and therefore their price is higher. But so is the quality. They don’t buy bulk, but rather, they try to offer as high quality as possible.
Those who buy Chaga that is pure, also don’t spoil it in preparation. Their products tend to be better. Often we see suppliers send samples to a lab for testing so they can give you certified values for their Chaga.
Quality suppliers are very picky about their products. They add great value when treating Chaga thoughtfully and that’s why their selling price is often higher and the quality much higher.
These suppliers rarely sell most of their products on Amazon (but some of them still do). They’ve built a brand around their business and they sell from their own home pages. Yes, they may get fewer potential customers to their site but as we said – it’s all about quality, not the quantity, and their is a business model for quality. You should not be looking for the cheapest Chaga, but the best.
NOTE: Quality suppliers often work directly with pickers and therefore they can control the quality.
Price of quality suppliers
If you buy Chaga from them, their prices can be on market price or higher because of the additional value and purity. Their products tend to be better quality from every link in the chain, from buying, to drying, preparing to pack. That’s the main thing you are looking when buying Chaga online!
What To Buy? Jump back to suggested Chaga products ->
2. Quantity suppliers
The second type of suppliers are quantity suppliers. They buy in bulk and sell in bulk – no matter of the quality.
Those Chaga suppliers buy bulk to get a better price. Therefore they try to pay as little as possible and sell at a low price. It’s again the quantity factor that comes into play and therefore their prices tend to be lower. To make more money, they have to sell more.
Quantity suppliers make their money by selling more low-quality product. Lots of people only look at price, so these sellers use that to earn more revenue. Quality is not a priority in their heads.
If the product description is full of stories that are too good to be true, it might also be the sign of a dishonest quantity Chaga supplier. Good Chaga should list where it came from. You can also do a background check about the suppliers to know how long they’ve been on the market and what others say about them.
STEP #3: Suppliers Sell To Buyers (You)
There are many ways to sell Chaga products. Some people are buying Chaga online and some offline. Online Chaga buyers can use e-commerce shops (like Amazon) or from the supplier’s website. Different product-based Facebook groups are also quite popular today.
The so-called offline opportunities are local herbal health shops. Chaga can often be discovered through word of mouth. This is when someone knows someone who knows someone who picks and may be willing to sell. Another possibility is the Chinese and Korean supermarkets that can always be found in the U.S. close to high concentrations of people of these nationalities.

We are talking mainly about the online Chaga suppliers here. There are some good places to buy Chaga online.
Let’s see further, what you need to know before buying Chaga online.
Quality Of The Chaga – Criterias
This is the most important thing you want to check. We’ve been in the Chaga business for many years and have seen many things. We can’t say that the market is rotten, but it’s not warm and cozy either. Therefore, the most important thing is to make sure the quality of the Chaga.
Like you read above, the quality is the most important factor you are looking for.
Pureness
Is their Chaga pure as the driven snow? Do they treat it with some kinds of chemicals (organic or synthetic – does it matter)? There is no need to treat Chaga with chemicals, except when you want to mix it to get more Chaga. That’s not right either because then it’s not pure either.
Make sure the Chaga in your products is pure from the place it was harvested.
We know that Chaga mushroom suck in toxic compounds from the air, and the soil, and that can really hurt the purity. Chaga that is harvested near polluted areas (cities, factories, roads) have significantly higher impurities.
Therefore, since pureness is crucial when choosing Chaga online, you must know where the Chaga was harvested.
Price
We hope that more and more people after reading this Chaga buying guide will know that the price isn’t the main thing to shop for. It’s actually the least important. Let us explain.
How often do you buy Chaga? Quite rarely. The amount which you save will be 20 – 50%, or in some cases even more.
Price is the least important thing. You want transparent purchases of high quality Chaga; not shady cheap purchases of contaminated “Chaga”
Now let’s see the other side – quality. Imagine pure, well picked and carefully handled high-quality Chaga vs “Chaga” that could be polluted, or diluted with false Chaga like components. Isn’t that scary? As written above, there are many ways to manipulate the product because it isn’t easy to check the quality.
Reputation
One last thing: Reputation is an important factor in Chaga buying. Good sellers build good reputations. Also, time is a factor that comes into play in building a good reputation. Companies who want to build their reputations, and stay in business can’t make bad decisions, selling low-quality Chaga products.
People don’t buy products, they buy emotions.
One thing we must make clear: People don’t buy products, they buy emotions. We live in the 21st century, with every kind of product you can imagine for sale, all competing online to survive. Therefore, smart and aggressive suppliers appeal to your emotions and try to offer a feeling of what the product provides. It is better to buy with a clear head, and not listen to your emotions. That’s how we hope to help with this guide.
But What Are The Best Places To Buy Chaga?
Well, now you know what to keep in mind when buying Chaga online. There are many sellers online who offer different kinds of Chaga products. All of them don’t offer all the products and some of them will offer only some very specific products.
We’re currently gathering and analyzing information from the Chaga sellers, to finish this Chaga buying guide with the best places online to buy Chaga.

it sure would be nice hearing from you. I’m Carol from Victoria and two months ago I purchased $57 worth of tea bags from your sponsor TrueNorthCaga – Krista Story. I’ve noticed you no longer use her name as a newcomer chaga Provider. I’ve really enjoyed your information about chaga and am really disappointed that I’ve been scammed. No product, no money. Is there any way you can contact her for me? Many thanks.
Hi,
Did she contact you?
I buy my Chaga from Annanda Chaga.. It’s a local, family owned Canadian business. Nice people. I’ve dealt with them on the phone several times. I’m concerned about quality. I have no reason to doubt their quality. The product is consistent to the untrained eye and tongue. They are “certified organic”. However all of my opinions are based on their info. How can I find out about the quality of their Chaga…
Hi John,
You can ask them how do they harvest it.
